Want to Get Better at Your Chosen Sport in Sai Kung?

Strength Training in Sai Kung

Every sports man and woman has one thing in common as part of their training; they strength train.

But isn’t that just for professional athletes? Well no! Strength training can improve your performance out on the trail, on the running track, on the pitch or on the court. What sport you do or play matters not; strengthening your body, optimising power, stability and mobility are key for every sport in order to optimise performance and ensure you stay injury free. It’s essential to ‘cross train’, doing the same thing over and over will mean that you may get stronger but conversely you may also get weaker. And it doesn’t matter whether you are a paid athlete or a weekend warrior, or you just want to get quicker at the next Action Asia race, strength training will help. Our personal strength training is tailored to you and your own individual goals. It can also mean that you can spend less time ‘doing or practicing your sport’ which can sometimes save you time, but certainly will ensure you are less likely to get injured.

Tailored & Personal Strength Training

As a Pain Free Performance Specialist (Level 2), my aim is to injury proof my athletes/ clients and to relieve any aches and pains that their chosen sport inflicts upon them. We can all get stronger. Just as important is to look at the other parts of the athlete’s life. How are they sleeping, resting, recovering, eating? How much are they stressing? What is their general attitude to their performance? How can we improve this? All of these things can be more influential than just the training itself. My HNF package is for anyone who would like to take a whole new approach to their training, food and lifestyle so that they can be stronger, faster and better.

So if you are finding that you are not improving at your sport, perhaps you have niggly aches and pains, or indeed seem to be getting weaker or keep spending endless time at the physio injured, then re-thinking your approach, whether you’re a runner, hiker, football player, golfer, tennis player or swimmer, could be beneficial now and for your longevity in your chosen sport.
